The meal included stew chicken, cabbage salad, and rice & peas — everything was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and tasted homemade with love. The stew chicken was tender and rich, the cabbage had just the right crunch, and the rice & peas were spot on. I also bought a piece of their homemade bread pudding, and wow — it was the perfect sweet ending, moist and comforting. The staff was friendly, and the pickup was quick and easy. Such great value and quality — I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this hidden gem! ”

“ I drove 45 minutes to pick up food from Jean’s restaurant and I must say that it was sooo worth it. The food was DELICIOUS and the prices were great. The amount of food that I received filled me up and I was able to say some for seconds later. I also met the mother and son that own the restaurant and it felt so good to be able to support a local business! I’m definitely going back to try the other delicacies that I saw on the menu and certainly more of their natural juices too. ”

The food from the app was great (and a very large portion) but I recommend going in telling them what you want personally or if you want a surprise bag. Met the owner's son, P, who came down from Jersey to support moms with the business - he's a real one for that. The quality ingredients they use can be tasted right away. Hard to beat this spot for their lunch special. Nothing like it in all of south florida. Maybe in NYC, but not down here. One portion is easily 4 servings, and it packs a huge flavor.
